How Travel Became Part of My Story

Travel Britten grew from my love of seeing what was beyond what I already knew. I didn’t start traveling because I had everything figured out—I started because I wanted to explore, learn, and experience more of the world.

Somewhere along the way, travel became more than checking places off a list. It became a way for me to challenge myself, experience different cultures, try really good food, meet people I never would have met otherwise, and learn just how capable I could be on my own.

Travel Britten is where I share those experiences—the good, the awkward, the lessons learned, and the places I’d go back to in a heartbeat. I’m sharing honest travel stories, practical tips, good eats, and everything I wish I knew before I started doing this on my own.

But traveling solo isn’t always perfectly curated sunsets and effortless airport outfits. Sometimes you miss the train, book a questionable Airbnb, get lost with 3% battery, or sit at a restaurant wondering what exactly you just ordered. And honestly? Those usually end up being the best stories.

So if you’ve been waiting for someone to finally take that trip with you, consider this your sign to stop waiting. Book the flight, girl. We’ll figure out the rest together. ✈️

Travel Should Feel Possible

I know how easy it is to talk yourself out of a trip. Maybe no one can go with you. Maybe you’re nervous about traveling alone. Maybe you’re wondering if you’re brave enough, prepared enough, or even the “type” of person who travels solo.

Travel Britten is here to remind you that you don’t need to have everything figured out before you go. You can learn, prepare, build confidence, and still leave room for the unexpected.

The good moments, the lessons, the mistakes, and what I learned along the way.

Helpful advice for planning, packing, staying safe, saving money, and traveling with more confidence.
